I have Had a pleasure of being reviewed and treated by Dr Gkountelia , as patient I was very satisfied with he professionalism and experience. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen in the UK , She very compassionate, kind , sympathetic and knowledgeable. I wish her all the best .

Dr Anna was patient and explained the processes of my procedure thoroughly including what to expect and healing times. She listened to mu concerns. One of the biggest plusses in my opinion is that her clinic always seemed to run on time and I wasn't left waiting for ages to be seen, which is rare.

i can’t express enough how lovely this consultant is, she gives all of her time to listen, she don’t rush you out the door she is absolutely brilliant and very efficient , provides great care and understanding, fabulous!!

Ms Gkountelia conducted two surgical procedures, the first bilateral in Feb 2020 and the second (left eye only) in Jan 2022. This required pre-op and post-op appointments with monitoring appointments in between, all against the pandemic background. At every stage I found Ms Gkountelia to exude professionalism and kindness which are very reassuring qualities in any doctor but particularly when surgery is to be performed in the eye area.
Appointments never felt rushed, despite the undoubted pressures on those who work in the NHS.
My last appointment was on 21 June so I'm extremely late in providing these comments. Better late than never...
